Ishi no Hoden (Floating Rock), Takasago, Japan
Ishi No Hoden is known to the Japanese people as one of the most enigmatic ancient riddles of Japanese History, a gigantic colossal structure measuring an staggering 700 ton megalithic stone, with a dimensional structure of 5.7 x 6.4 x 7.2 Meters (18.7x20.9x23 feet ) the colossal is found near in the Kansai Region of Japan near the town of Takasago in the Hyogo Prefecture. about 100 km from Asuka in the Nara Prefecture, a place known to have the similar carving style from the Yomon period or perhaps even older as the Younagouni Monument in Okinawa, Japan.
There is a massive megalithic stone monument located around 100km from Asuka in the Nara prefecture, home to one of the most mysterious stone monument carvings of ancient Japan.
My very good old friend Ani took me there as we talked about going many years before, we finally ended up going while i made a quick visit to his home town of Himeji in the same Hyogo Prefecture.

The great mysterious stone carving appears to be floating in water, giving it the name of floating rock and various other names trough-out Japanese History, modern science have concluded
I made a video while visiting Ishi no Hoden with the help of my friend Ani presenting the video in Japanese, please watch it and share the video!

Colossal Stone Monument Mystery
THE EVIDENCE
We drove from Himeji towards Takasago, if you are interested in visiting the site on your own you can take Shinkansen straight to Himeji then a local train towards Takasago and surrounding area, you can also take train to Osaka Station and transfer to Takasago.
The surrounding area was filled with gigantic machinery mining the nearby mountains near the ancient monument, lots of construction and renovation..
"Entering Ishi no Hoden"
As we pulled into the parking lot, a giant shinto gate is at the entrance of the Temple/Stone Monument, the temple has transformed from what it's one function before Japanese recorded history to shinto buddhism shrine as most ancient mysterious monuments of Japan, i wish they didnt have to turned them into establish religions but see them as something that was before buddhism entered Japan.
A beautifully constructed shinto type temple at the entrance of the stone monument, on the opposite site you can oversee the Takasago city view. The gate cost around 200 JPY around a Dollar fifty or something like that.
As you enter the temple, an intense feeling of eerie and uncertainty fills the room, a colosal megalithic structure that was carved before Japanese Recorded History of one of the most mysterious Time Periods of Japanese History lies behind those curtain doors...
As we entered, my first response was between a WOW and a WTF.. It really does look like it's floating!! What is this how did it got here and what was it's purpose? Before started taking any pictures i just sat there and looked it really carefully, analyzed it for cut marks, mistakes, vitrification anything that could tell me a bit of information as of what was it's main purpose..
As you enter the main corridor you can see it standing there, defying time and space, the ancient builders knew this megalithic stone monument would survive the unforgiving nature of time. As you start observing the massive monument many types of theories popped out of my head.

"Awe and Mystery"
There are no stone tools that were ever found, no cut marks that were used during the construction of the site, the stone monument was built from Hialocastite Stone ( A type of Glass Stone Rock ) but my original thought after i read it was composed of this element was if the stone mountain was created from this same material or it went trough a process of becoming glass stone such as vitrification which you can see a lot in numerous other ancient monuments around the world, where stone gets so hot it turns into a glassy type of stone, the question is even now with modern technology is practically almost impossible to turn stone into glass..
"Holy Rope usually used in Shinto Shrines"
The colosal monument stone has a giant cord which is typically used by shinto shrines and monuments, adorning the beautiful temple and the mysterious rock.
"What is it?"
If you look at it from the side you can see that somehow it resembles that of an old TV or an old Computer Monitor, what was the motive of such interesting geometry? what was it's main purpose? is this the quarry where they managed to haul gigantic stone monuments all the way to other Tumulus Sites such as in Nara and Kyoto and as far as Okinawa and other parts of Japan?
"An old TV?"
If you start to analyze numerous other Tumulus Period Temples or perhaps Jomon Period monuments thousands of years before Buddhism arrived to Japan, you can start to see similar patterns and geometrical significance, there isn't really any hard solid theory as of how were this ancient monuments were carved, what tools did they used, how were they transported and what was it's original purpose...
" Sacred Geometrical Implementation "
From this angle you can see that it looks like a prism as if it was a quartz crystal, some scientists believed it was actually faced down from this side but thats even more impossible as of how were they able to even moved it on it's side!!
Is what we are seeing remnants of an ancient lost civilization that used extreme forms of technology that we have forgotten or that was lost trough history? Is this connected to other ancient megalithic monuments that defy modern architectural explanations?
"Look at how it appears to be floating!"
Interestingly the name of the Stone is Called Ishi no Hoden which means "Departing Stone" is this somehow a mimic of an ancient space craft that once visited Earth in remote history? were the ancient Jomon Japanese trying to depict what they saw in the sky? Is this some form of vehicle? Ancient Vimana? What is interesting is the geometry used in the construction, just also remember that the original builders of this ancient time period was thousands of years ago and as Japan was completely isolated was even harder for this group of people to share religious ideologies.
Stone building monuments such as the one in Ishi no Hoden are definitely groundbreaking important and shall be taken more seriously as they depict a time that was completely erased not just in Japanese History but many of the Gigantic Megalithic Monuments were erected during the same time period and were also forgotten as well as the same time period, almost as if it was deliberately forgotten or forced to get lost in history.
"Myself Recharging at Ishi no Hoden "
Standing next to the gigantic stone monument you could feel the presence of thousands of devoted monks, pilgrimage seekers, stone temple pilots, ancient alien theorist, archaeologists and freaks that come to this place to find understanding of our past, find hope and good luck, be blessed in front of such a powerful image created by god as some see it.
We trekked towards the top of the mountain where you could see that the monument was originally carved at the site as you can see the reseeding stone, whats interesting is that i heard researchers never found any of the debris which should be in the hundreds of thousands of tons, it's actually as if the stone monument was completely stopped and it was left unfinished..
"Birds View of the Stone Monument"
The megalithic stone is over 500 tons it had to be created by a highly advanced technologically capable civilization, since there are no traces of stone marks then modern science has to come to the conclusion that many of Earths Ancient Mysterious temples were perhaps created by a lost civilization..
"Sacred Geometry Technology used at Ishi no Hoden"
What was the purpose of such magnificent ancient monument? Modern Scientists believed it was a tomb? but obviously there is not entrance, the kofun period of Japan created numerous tumulus that were served as tombs but this stone monuments pre dates that to the jommon perhaps to the exact same period as the younaguni in the islands of Okinawa which lies one of the biggest underwater megalithic monuments in Earth's History!!!
"One of Japan's 3rd most Mysterious Sites"
The ancient monument has been venerated trough history, the locals believed it's the work of "Gods" they believed two gods created this monument, Okuninushi ( Great Land Master ) and Sukuna Biko Na according to the legend they were supposed to make a castle in one night, there was a rebellion which caused the gods to leave the work incomplete.
"Towards the mountain top"
As we climbed towards the mountain top my friend ani told me that this place is one of the hottest places of Japan and the properties are unknown..
"Alchemical Stone of Creation"
There is a massive shinto shrine monument at the top of the mountain, it was interestingly powerful and almost resembled that of a Monolith which reminded me a lot to Space Odyssey.
"Climbing the mountains top"
During the video i shot with ani you can see how we climbed the mountain and try to explain the main significance of this incredible mystery, ani puzzles himself how were they able to carry this monuments hundreds of miles across Japan..
"Behold the monument of wisdom"
intense moment as we reached the top, we took a few minutes to recalibrate our spiritual compass and gather tactile memory encoded deep within the sub atomic structure of the stones around the place, cellular memory can be accessed everything contains information and is recorded within the atomic circuit..
"Shinto Practice of Purification"
Ani performing a typical shinto shrine buddhism ceremony of cleansing, before and after entering the temple, in order to be purified from all negative spirits..
Ani demonstrated that part of this stone once belonged to the colosal monument, and now is believed to have super natural healing powers, people come from other parts of Japan to heal with the stone powers, i lay down on top of the stone to get a full body tune up! :)
"Mystery Stone Block"
Leaving the temple there is an interesting stone slab with some Japanese Inscription i forgot what it meant and i cant read complex Kanji but if you know what it means text it on the comments, perhaps it's just the name of the temple monument.
"Ani super cute little truck"
All right that was it! i hope you enjoyed my post and you can follow other Jommon monuments i explored in Japan trying to uncover one of Japan's biggest mysteries!
"Ani and i heading back to Himeji"
Thanks for tuning in, please take a look at the video we made on top of the page, its super informative and goes into detail, i am thinking this year 2017 to go around with my camera and record and document more stone monuments in Japan since ill be stationed there for the next 3 years until olympics commence.
Hope you enjoy my adventures and keep searching the ancient truth #ancientfuture
