Travel Log Day 59 to 67 * Cambodia * Into the majestic site of ANGKOR WAT!!!

Blessings,

ANGKOR WAT! Has to be one of my must favorite and mystical places i ever been! i traveled for years visiting ancient sites all over the planet across continents continuously but i was not really aware of the size and the majesty of this place..
Its the largest religious center in the world according to modern archeologists and to be honest it made the mayas the aztecs and egyptians look like kids next to this enormous intricate design and mystical energy..

We woke up early morning 4AM and went early to catch the sunrise this is what i was able to capture!

The Ancient megalithic city of Angkor was built around in the early 12th century according to modern archeologists, but the khmer people the original habitants of what is now Cambodia believe this site is about 10ths of thousands of years old.
as you come into contact with the place you can feel the magic and the ethereal magic of this amazing holy land, not as megalomaniacal Kings but with their intention to bring awareness of the powers of the world and the importance of the mystical realm as a sacred temple of the universal consciousness and as a fingerprint of the gods that once came thousands of years ago in advanced flying charriots jumpstarting civilization as we know it!

This is a quote from King Javaram VII as his intentions to erect the temples of Angkor:

“full of deep sympathy for the good of the world, so as to bestow on men the ambrosia of remedies to win them immortality….By virtue of these good works would that I might rescue all those who are struggling in the ocean of existence.”

Must of ancient temples around the world main purpose are as the holy powerpoints to reconnect with the gods of the stars, they all followed certain patterns and alignments with the stars and celestial objects this is why i travel to all of this ancients sites to truly connect with the infinite powers of the powerplant stations of the gods!

The Angkor Wat temples sites main purpose was to redirect humanity towards the realization of the divine universal energy as instruments for assisting humans to fully understand the akashik record library of the unconscious universal mind..

We started on the main central gallery inside Angkor Wat Temple inside there are giant galleries typical construction for all ancient sites across the world, the second level according to archeostronomist represents the stairwars into the kingdom of the gods, the inner gallery has a pool formation which then was flooded to represent the oceans around mount meru, on the outer gallery the Bakan is a 60m square axial gallery connecting each gopura with the central shrine..

on the top of the roof its decorated with the motif of the body of a snake ending in the head of lions which this represents the mystical being of GERUDA which ancient astronaut theorist believe GERUDA is a extraterrestrial being that has wings and is able to fly and trow bolts of lightning and brought civilization not just to the Khmer people of Cambodia but all across south east asia and India..

Inside Angkor Wat the decorations are one of the must impressive rivaling the ones in Egypt and Mesoamerica

The inner walls of the outer gallery bear a series of large-scale scenes mainly depicting episodes from the Hindu epics the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. On the southern gallery follow the only historical scene, a procession of Suryavarman II, then the 32 hells and 37 heavens of Hindu mythology.

The outer gallery is fully decorated with the Divine Deva, you can see the Devatas all across south east asia mustly in balinese art and sundanese and malay in india are called Devatas and are guardian angels which are sometimes also refered as forest spirits Vanadevatas or guardians of the directions they are both male and female guardian spirits

The trip intensify thanks to our great company our good friend Dana and his girlfriend Machiko-San came from japan to join us on the adventure and we been having an amazing time

We had a blast together exploring the site and tripping our heads off while visiting the ancient ruins we felt it was like a theme park ride we called it Angkor Wat Theme Park!!

We continued exploring the central galleries and the inner chambers of Angkor Wat but the whole site is miles long it takes about 3 to 4 days to just explore a fraction of the site.. like i said everywhere u go you see giant temples all around cover by the jungle this place is the ultimate capital of the ancient sites of the world..

we then left the main temple of Angkor Wat and went to explore Angkor ceremonial sites

We then headed to Angkor Thom its like a gate to enter the great BAYON the most amazing and mystical site around Angkor

We cross the gate and snap few pictures on the main gate site

snap this pic of this really funny chinese tourist, that had their glasses stolen by monkeys..
Rafa also got his head chewed by a crazy monkey!

An early western visitor wrote of an uninhabited city, "as fantastic as the Atlantis of Plato" which some thought to have been built by the Roman emperor Trajan. (Higham 140) It is believed to have sustained a population of 80,000-150,000 people.

This stones are located along a giant bridge with an amazing lake diving the entrance to the gate

We then departed towards BARON a multitude of serene and massive stone carved faces on many towers when we arrived my heart stopped my body trembled and i felt the need of crying of how beautiful the site is.. i hold my hands in praying position as i walked inside and i looked at machiko-san and i said oh my god is amazing!!! i was in shock to see this and i cant even imagine how it looked when it was built or when the explorers came to visit hundreds of years ago!

We then after having our psyche-s upgraded we walked towards Ta Som and Ta Prohm an impressive site covered by giant roots of trees growing out of the temples

The tress are ceiba trees same as the ones in guatemala and i dont think they are no coincidence to believe that same in mayan mythology this tree represents the tree of life and are also safely guarded and venerated by the ancient khmer people!

we then left the area and walk around to check more temples and must of the site

and more of this:

Having said before this was one of the must amazing sites i ever been in my whole life i had an amazing time with all my friends and the beautiful people of cambodia..

Ending this blog entry with some fun shots of eachother!

and this!!
