The Mystery of Sakafune-Ishi in Asuka, Japan and the connection to Ancient MU, Yonaguni and Masada No Iwafune

Welcome to my Blog, its been numerous months or i might think its been a year since my last post, but i am excited to share with you some of my latest travels trough, Japan so i keep it short and simple and straight to the point!

I bought a JR Pass and embarked on a journey into the Old Capital of Japan the great Kingdom of Asuka in the, Nara Region of Kansai Prefecture Japan.

Asuka is known not just for being the capital of the Ancient Kingdom of "Asuka" a special History Period that lasted about 200 years and marked one of the most important time periods in Japanese History which was the introduction of Buddhism Religion from mainland China, this time period was a very transformative period in which Japan introduced not just Buddhism but also numerous Kanji's ( Chinese Characters ) as well as an entire new cosmological perspective thousands of years of antiquity.

What's very interesting about Asuka village its the numerous archeological as well as cultural and spiritual artifacts that have been uncovered around this small village in the Kansai Region, archeologist have uncovered ancient artifacts from the "Jommon" Time period of Japan that stretches as far's back as 14.000 Years Before Christ!!

Also in Asuka are the remains of an earlier time period, the Kofun Period古墳時代 ) which are gigantic stone block Sarcophagus style tumulus tombs that are found not just in the Kansai Region but across the entire island of Japan as well as in Korea.

The Kofun Period is came after the Yayoi Period and therefore the Asuka period rise forming what is known this days as the "Yamato  Period".

What its really important and i am sure many History buffs such as myself would be stoke to find, that asuka contains one of the earliest paintings in Japanese History.

View of the Asuka Village Rice Fields

This blog post will be divided into two sections one the "Sakafuneishi Stone" and the next blog post which will be the unknown mayan style pyramid found near asuka village called "Miyakozuka" as well as the Masuda No Iwafune.

                       KAMEGA TURTLE MYSTERIOUS STONE

In order to reach the Archeological site of "SAKAFUNEISHI STONE" you first have to go to downtown Asuka Village, i stayed in the Asuka Guest House which is a typical Japanese Style accommodation in the downtown district of the Asuka Village, from there you can easily walk to the site which is about 20 minute walk by foot on a hill, first you can visit the nearby site of Kamegata Sekizoubutsu

"View of the Kamega Turtle Shape Stone from Entrance"

As i inter the ruins of the "Empress Saimei" i could feel the sense of going back in time and experiencing a lost world that somehow was forgotten by history books, Asuka almost unknown to the world history and even the Japanese People seem to have forgotten..

Asuka is the cradle of what Japan it's today, the oldest history books in Japanese History the
"Koijiki ( 716 A.D ) and the "Nihon-Shoki" ( 720 A.D ) originated in Asuka Village, so what we experience in Asuka Village is numerous Kofun Mound Monuments that originated during 3rd Century to the end of the 6th Century in a period called "Zenpo-Koen-Fun"  a symbol of a religion that seem to have started in Asuka Village as well as ended in Asuka Village with the introduction of Chinese Buddhism by the Soga-Clan.

"Close up of the kamegama Turtle"

The Kamegama Turtle stone it's believed was built by the Empress "Saimei" it was discovered in 1992 during the first excavations but the entire site was revealed and map during the year 2000, it seems that the purpose of this stone was to channel the water from a spring.

The Kamegata Stone is made of pure granite rock ( one of the hardest stones in the world ) and one of the hardest to work, the stone measures 2.4 meters by 2 meters wide, it shows signs of being a some type of zoomorphic figure with head, legs and tail resembling a turtle.

                                                     "The Kamegama overseing the excavations"

The Kamegata Stone receptacle shell was casted into a bowl to hold the sacred water, which flow's out from the oval stone entering the next bowl trough a hole in the turtles head then trough another hole in it's tail.
The excavations revealed a large stone wall with stone pavings which are believed were the remnants of Empress Saimei Sacred Palace written and described in the first history of Japan by the "Nihon Shoki"

                                    SAKAFUNEISHI STONE

After exploring the ancient site of Kamegata Stone i continued the journey across the site towards the Sakafuneishi Stone and this is what i discovered!  We were told there is rarely any tourist ( がいじん ) the very few entrepreneurs visiting Asuka village are history buffs and space out characters looking for the origins of civilization.

The Stone is located on the "Asuka-itabuki-no-miya" Valley and its situated on top of the mountain in front of what it appeared to be the Emperor Kogyoku Palace that was built around the 7th century during the Asuka Period Apogee.

"Bamboo Forest leading to Sakafuneishi Stone"

There was not many signs to follow the trails towards the other monoliths or temples, many of them were written in old Japanese Kanji so was very difficult to understand the coordinates and the layout of the archeological site, i follow my instinct and kept walking towards what it appeared to be a bamboo forest.

"Beautiful Hydrangeas or Hortencia's as my mothers name"

There was numerous mosquitos in the area, biting ferociously so me and my crew started rushing and made us very distracted since there were hundreds of mosquitoes just waiting to bite us!

As we ascended the staircase into this incredible Bamboo Forest that resemble that of an Ancient Movie, we reached the top of the mountain, i looked for signs of quarries or any signs that they moved the large stone from the top to replace it, looked for holes that could fit the size of the monument but non of that, it appeared as if this stone was actually brought to the top and carried all the way...

Something very peculiar with Megalithic Stone monuments that appeared to have been made almost by magic and the harder it almost to build its even more staggering!!

"The first encounter with the Mysterious Stone"

The local explanation and mainstream theory is that this stone was used as a form of ( O-Sake - Rice Wine ) factory, which is almost ridiculous to believe it, why would ancient man go trough this intense labor of carving a gigantic monolithic structure to create a small enclosure for sake production it makes no sense whatsoever..

The usual typical explanation by the mainstream it's always based in mundane meaning, when in reality the Ancient Yamato Japanese People were highly spiritual beings that perhaps carved this stone using a higher frequency field by the conduit of the rigid meditation to come up with the type of Symbolism that is carved into this stone..

Something i have learnt trough the past decade of traveling to over 80 countries and hundreds of archeological sites is that man build extraordinary structures for the sole purpose of religious ideologies and to endure the passage of time to carry the message to the future.

"Measured my hand across the stone and try to feel the corners for sharp cutting marks"

The precision in which the cuts were made was impressive with straight lines that had to used specific compasses and squares in order to reach this level of perfection.

"Explanation of the Stone in Japanese"

The Granite stone megalithic monuments measures 5.5 Meters long and 2.3 Meters wide and its about 1.0 Meters thick. it's believed the original stone was way bigger and was actually cut down trough the centuries in order to be used for future constructions during various time periods.

Recently they found that  Takatori-Jo Castle built in the 14th Century contained  various rock pieces from the original stone temple at Sakafune-Ishi.

"Drawings by Independent Researcher Hiroshi Hayashi"

While making an online search for the mysteries of "Sakafune-Ishi" i was able to found only one link and it was like finding a needle in a haystack, an independent Japanese Researcher named "Hiroshi Hayashi" seem to have investigated the Archeological monuments of Sakafune Ishi and the other mysterious temples in the vicinity, the webpage and the youtube video of his explanation it's all in Japanese so i was able to understand only portion of his own theory on this megalithic structure

Hayashi-San Believes that the archeological site of "Sakafune Ishi" it's aligned with various other megalithic monuments across the entire world, he used a compass and advanced GPS Systems to coordinate the alignment and by using a grid software he was able to see that the way the symbol seemed to connect via a "GRID LINE MATRIX" or  "GEOMANCY" to megalithic sites such as:

Teotihuacan ( Mexico ), Chichen Itza ( Mexico " Near Lemurian Embassy ), Giza ( Egypt ), Mohenjo Daro ( Pakistan ) and Urulu ( Australia ) he was able to calculate this distances and came up with very interesting formulas that are required further research to see potential connections to this temple and other atlantean cultures that had communication or perhaps were originated during ancient times in Lemuria or Atlantis.

"Details of the strange mysterious diagram carved into stone"

I believe this specific structure diagram was conceived by the ancient people as a sacred symbol, a star map, a magical ritualistic symbol and or technology that we have seen in various others archeological sites that defy all current understanding of how were this megalithic sites were created!!

Something important to remember is to understand the connection of the place to history, the Asuka Period and the introduction of a Buddhism to Japan began in this place, we also see a large amount of Kofun Mounds and other mysterious sites built around this valley, so its no coincidence that the ancient people of Japan found this area to be one of the most holy places in the entire island of Japan.

If numerous religious monuments, pyramids and burial mounds as well as the introduction of the first temples to buddha were dedicated in this valley what i believe it's that this gigantic structures in megalithic size were already here perhaps thousands or even hundreds of years ago!!

It's evident to see how many cultures from around the world establish their capital cities in remnants of an ancient religion or temples, i think what we see here is clearly the works of a lost civilization that existed prior to recorded history and the inhabitants of the Asuka Valley became inspired and localize their religious and political center in the Asuka Valley because of this gigantic structures..

"Kabbalah Ancient Symbolism found trough history"

After visiting the archeological sites and examining my pictures and the data i was able to record while i was there, i kept thinking the "Sakafune-Ichi" Megalithic Structure resembles that of the Kabbalah Symbol, if we examine the Kabbalah we see that this ancient symbol is traced to "Sumerian Civilization

"Kabbalah as seen by the Summerian Reptilian Annunaki Gods"

"Kabbalah Tree of Life erected in stone in Ancient Summer"

Are we seeing here a connection between Ancient Mesopotamian Civilization and the Japanese Archipelago? is there a connection to an ancient origin that perhaps was lost due to the introduction of various others philosophical ideologies and religious doctrines imported to Japan?

"Posing in-front of the mysterious Sakafune-Ishi"

As i posed behind the mysterious stone as a size reference i want you to look on my right arm --> you can clearly see details of some interesting carving that to me resemble that of ancient grinding machines, i have seen clearly many similar "Machine Grinding Lock" Stone cut features in temples all over the world..

"My friend Ian explaining just a bit on what we discovered"

Ian and i made a short quick video before the mosquitoes were eating us alive, here you can see clearly some of the carvings that were made up close and various other things i didn't get to write..

                 YONAGUNI UNDERWATER PYRAMID STRUCTURE

"Yonaguni Ancient Submerged City in Japan"

So to conclude the research does "Sakafune-Ishi" resembles that to other megalithic temples across the world?; The Answer is "YES" it's Sakafune-Ishi part of an ancient religion and of way of interpreting universal consciousness the answer i believe it's "YES" if Sakafune-Ishi belongs to a period way before recorded history, the yonaguni monument it's believed to have been built an staggering 10.000 Years Ago thats at the end of the last ice age when tectonic activity made the water level of the islands rise therefore burying what it could be remnants of the lost continent of MU or an even older time period..

"Yonaguni Detail Map of the Megalithic Structure"

The reason why i linked both Sakafune-Ichi and other various monumental structures located in the Asuka Valley it's because i see clearly an evident resemblance to the massive underwater megalithic temple of Yonaguni in the Okinawan Islands of Japan.

To me it looks as if the monoliths in the Asuka Valley belong 100% to the same time period of that of Yonaguni the great capital city..

I recommend you to follow up on my other posts on the other monumental monolithic temples structures located in the Asuka Valley so you can see a perplexed connection between the older Yonaguni structures and the Asuka Valley ones, perhaps this is the missing link that has been staring in front of our eyes, clear evidence of a lost MU Civilization, clear evidence of an older religious ideology and or clear evidence of a intervention by genetic mutation or actual CE-4 Encounters that were given to ancient humans to achieve higher levels of consciousness, or perhaps it's a Test by future civilizations that could understand the divine language of universal consciousness, that it's spoken trough the cosmos, mathematics, sacred geometry and cosmological alignments are and will be always the universal language of consciousness either on Earth or perhaps in other worlds...

                                 THE BALTIC ANOMALY

                                            "The Baltic Anomaly Underwater Monolith"

The Baltic Anomaly located in the baltic sea it measures a staggering 60 Meter circular diameter granite rock, when it was discovered independent researchers and the UFOlogist community believed it looked like an ordinary UFO Craft, to me it looks more evidently to an older religious cult that existed thousands of years ago before written history and it was present in all continents under the same spiritual banner.

To my own perspective the Baltic Anomaly resembles that of the "Sakafuneishi" Stone formation, the "Masada no Iwafune" located near the Sakafuneishi near the Okadera Train Station following the exact gridline to the stone formation of Sakafuneishi!

                                                "The Baltic Anomaly Explanation Diagram"

the To summarize this i strongly believe the connection is clear, the Sakafuneishi Stone work the Masada no Owafune, Yonaguni and the Baltic Sea Anomaly underwater structure all resemble that of a grand design, blue prints of a language that was forgotten before the mayor religions took control of people's consciousness during the last centuries.

                                 HOW TO GET THERE?

"Roads towards Asuka Valley the Cradle of Spirituality of Japan"

The main problem always finding lost ancient temples and records of ancient megalithic structures is that either they are abandoned, hidden in plain sight or erased from human consciousness, before i set myself up to investigate the area, i checked numerous pages but unfortunately only found very very few web pages that were in English and the very few had no information in how to get there or what to find, when i saw the structures i just knew i had to go there without not knowing anything about it.

"The Sacred Valley of Asuka Village filled with Rice Fields"

To reach the Asuka Village you can take a JR Train from Osaka Station in Kansai or from Kyoto as well both have connections for express trains that can take you straight to Asuka Village, be warned that almost nobody speaks English in the Village and well most of Japan it's the case as well so be prepared if you dont understand Japanese to bring a point translate book and or mobile apps to help you get your message across.

Once you arrive in Asuka Station visit the gift shop there are numerous memoralia from asuka period and numerous sweets and interesting finds like i found a Dogu figurine that was unburried here in the asuka village, pointing to the earliest period in Japanese History which is the "Yommon Period"

"Dogu Figurine from the Yommon Period unearthed here in Asuka Village"

The Dogu Figurine it's believed that it resembles that of an Ancient Astronaut wearing a Space Suit visiting Earth.

"Visit nearby Sacred Buddhist Shrines in Asuka Village"

There are numerous sites to visit near the Asuka Village that are not related to monolithic or megalithic structures, that have an important value to World History since the Asuka Valley it's home to the introduction of Chinese Buddhism combined with Shinto Religion it's very interesting combination of shrines that are located near the vicinity.

                                                        "Adjacent to the Okadera Shrine"

Once you finish visiting the Enigmatic Stone of Sakafueishi follow the Bamboo Trail towards Okadera Temple, there will be a sign in Japanese make sure you check the Kanji to recognize the name of the temple, follow the signs into the main highway and continue towards what it appears to be a hill.

"Part of the Okadera Shrine and Historical Temple"

As you reach the top of the mountain follow the trail that will leads towards what it looks to be a classical Japanese Temple, what you are seeing are the incredible conserved first buildings of Japanese Buddhism, follow the trail opposite to this picture temple that will lead you towards the entrance of the Okadera Temple.

                                                                   "Okadera Temple Structure"

Its believed that the Okadera Temple Shrine was used by the first Empress regnant that reigned all over Japan, the three empress Suiko, Empress Kogyoku ( Saimei ) and Empress Jito all live and reign in the vicinity of the great ancient capital of Japan.

"Entrance to the Okadera Temple Shirine"

When i reach the Okadera Temple was already closed so i advise you to try to start your day early and make sure you don't miss anything..
The Okadera Temple was constructed by the "Shingon Buzan Sect" (真言宗 ) one of the major schools of ancient Buddhism in Japan and one of the few surviving Vajrayana Lineages in all South East Asia. originally from India to China arriving in Japan during the 6th Century creating a new Religious movement in Japan with 3000 Temples and 5000 Priest and over 2 million followers worldwide,

                                                                       "Divine Buddhist Statue"

The transmission of Shingo-Buddhism spread trough China arriving to Japan by the Esoteric Buddhist monks called "Kukai" (空海) from Tang, China to Japan.

The Word Shingon in Chinese Kanji means 真言 Zhēnyán "True Words" which in Vedic Sanskrit translates to "Mantra"

Well i hope this blog helps you find the answers you are looking for, definitely there is an urge for more independent investigators to go and find more clues to our ancient origins and paint a new picture of who we were and where we come from!!

If you find this page useful shoot me an email let me know if you would like to add anything to this page so can be used as reference for other potential megalithic investigators..

Stay tune for my upcoming posts which will be linked on this page on other Asuka Monuments that defy all explanations!!

  1. Thanks Guillermo.

I am here in Osaka now.., and will try to head there tomo. My wife is Japanese..., however does not seem to care or understand the importance of this to myself. Interestingly she has been explaining quite a few Japanese myths.., however she studied these following her schooling , as post WWII, the Americans prohibited these teachings in schools of years that followed 1945.
I would like to email you, however thank you so much for your great post.
    Regards,

    Mark
